In 1947, shortly after the return from the war, Mr. Lacourte and Mrs. Godbillon embarked on a new adventure: the production and marketing of champagne under the Lacourte-Labasse and Godbillon-Martie brands, and filled customers' trunks with bulk bottles! In 1968, Jean-Guy Lacourte and Claudine Godbillon had their first independent harvest and gradually set up and launched their LACOURTE-GODBILLON brand.
