The Château de Sainte Croix is located near the lake of Carcès, not far from the abbey of Thoronet, and has belonged to the Pélépol family for 4 generations. In 1924, the family acquired 5 hectares of vines and in 1927, Fernand Pélépol decided to create his first winery in the village of Carcès. It was not until 1971 that the estate expanded to include 25 hectares of vines. Today it is the fourth generation, composed of Florence and Stéphane, who continue the adventure with a vineyard that has doubled.
